This is a follow-up webinar to the 3 April session, which explored what nutrient profiling is and why it matters. It covered recent developments in nutrient profiling, shedding light on the latest trends shaping how we assess the nutritional value of food. It also examined practical examples of how nutrient profile models are used to promote optimal diets for older infants

and young children, as well as to evaluate food industry products—demonstrating how nutrient profiling is applied in real-world settings.

There was considerable interest in nutrient profiling expressed following the 3 April webinar, with various participants requesting a follow-up session to continue the discussion. In response, APCNS is organizing this Part 2 webinar on Nutrient Profiling, with a special focus on the use and adaptation of existing nutrient profile models for different purposes and contexts—including their application to meals.

Join us as we continue this insightful conversation and dive deeper into the world of nutrient profiling—a powerful tool for evaluating the nutritional quality and healthiness of food.
